Can Anyone Say, "Change of Government"?
Well, it is almost midnight on this November 7th and so far it is looking good for the Democrats. We finally have a chance to put away all the nastiness, attack ads and just plain ugliness that we have witnessed over the last few months. If Americans are tired of the arrogance of this administration, the corruption, which may be worse than in any of our previous administrations, we may now show our politicians that our government is, "Of the people, for the people, and by the people" once again. It is my hope that something can be done to reverse the damage done by this administration and just maybe we can prevent more of our troops in Iraq from being killed, thus, preventing any more heartache which so many of our families have had to suffer after losing their loved ones in this war.
Now it is time for Americans to really take to the streets to protest so that we can put an end to all the madness that is Iraq. My idea is for college students everywhere to sacrifice one semester and take to the streets and put pressure on the Bush administration to take steps that will ensure that no more harm will come to our soldiers fighting in Iraq.
